Thousands of mysterious threads seen in the galaxy
This universe is full of many strange things. Recently, South African scientists have seen 1,000 mysterious glowing threads in our Milky Way Galaxy. These threads are scientifically called radio filaments. They have been discovered through MeerKAT, the world's largest radio telescope. Threads look like nerves of the brain Scientists have theorized that these radio filaments are actually formed by explosions of some kind of radio energy. Their length is 150 light years (1 light year is equal to 9.4 trillion kilometres). On seeing them, it seems as if they are spread in space like nerves of the brain. Some threads that are in pairs have a structure similar to the DNA found in our bodies. Due to the energy in them, they keep shining all the time. According to scientists, there are billions of electrons revolving around radio filaments. They have their own magnetic field, due to which they move at the speed of light. Researchers first saw these filaments 35 years ago. According to th
